A night sky experience is a guided, expert-led stargazing session delivered at a venue of your choice. Keith Cobby narrates the night sky with stories of the constellations, planets and deep-sky objects visible that evening. Every session includes celestial explorations, night sky narratives, live telescope views and stunning astrophotographs as a lasting memento of your evening.

Night Sky Maven operates primarily across the Algarve, Portugal, with availability for events throughout Portugal and worldwide on request.

Our experiences normally last two hours, but we have a policy of 'last-man-standing' for those who want more. The specific conditions and timing are defined in our offer for each booking.

Depending on the experience booked, we start either at sunset, twilight or true darkness. This varies month by month to ensure the best possible conditions for your evening.

We watch the weather very closely and will green-light your event in advance. Should the weather not be suitable, we will discuss and reschedule to ensure you get the best possible experience.

You provide the space, your seating and blankets as required. We provide the telescope, tools and all peripherals required to deliver the experience. Everything is set up and managed by us so you can simply relax and enjoy the evening.

Yes. Night Sky Maven caters for intimate private sessions through to large group events of 100 or more guests. Each experience is tailored to suit the size and setting of your group.

Yes. While we are based in the Algarve, we are available for events throughout Portugal and worldwide on request.
